Avalanche Winter Pop-Up Experience .

Back by popular demand, Avalanche, the highly anticipated ski lodge-themed pop-up bar, returns to Work & Leisure (3015 Locust St) this December. From December 3-31, experience the magic of the holiday season with a twist at this immersive event hosted by BradENSTL and Work & Leisure for the second year in a row.

Avalanche transports guests to the snowy Lodge & Leisure Ski Resort, where the cozy atmosphere and thrilling story of an impending avalanche set the scene for an unforgettable experience. As soon as guests enter the lodge, they are welcomed by a dedicated staff who make it their mission to ensure everyone has a fantastic time. However, with the looming threat of an avalanche, the excitement never stops as guests wonder: Will the staff manage to keep everyone safe?

This year’s pop-up will feature even more delicious food from The Table, expertly crafted specialty cocktails by Raven Weinrich with Luxco products, interactive experiences like a photo booth provided by Fete Booth, and a special ice cream flavor from Clementine's Naughty and Nice Creamery. Guests can indulge in culinary delights, sip on festive drinks, enjoy captivating photo opportunities, play engaging games, and create lasting memories in a lodge setting straight out of a winter wonderland.

Tickets for Avalanche start at $12 and are available on select nights from December 3 through December 31. The talented chefs from The Table & Foodie Bistro will split time hosting a brunch buffet Sunday's for $40. Tickets for December 20 and 21 will include light snacks. A portion of each ticket sold will be donated to St. Louis Diaper and Food Bank. Guests ages 21+ are welcome to attend and experience the excitement with their family, friends, and colleagues. Seating is open with lots of activities that'll keep you moving around all night.

After a long hibernation, Chef Elizabeth Schuster brings Tenacious Eats back to life with a spectacular 4-course dinner experience themed around the cult classic movie Wet Hot American Summer. As you enter, you'll be guided to your clique and table, choosing from groups like Kitchen Staff, Tiger Claw Camp Kids, Counselors in Training, and more.

Menu Highlights:

  1. First Course - Breakfast!

    • Astro Physics, Potatoes, and Dick Cream: Potato pancake, candied bacon, whipped hot honey, and feta cheese.

  2. Second Course - Snack!

    • Big Secret Pizza Party: Union mini bagel pizza with pomodoro sauce, smoked mozzarella, fresh basil, and Volpi pepperoni (in collaboration with Union Bagel).

  3. Third Course - "You Taste Like a Burger"

Wallflower is a collaboration between Proper Brands’ charitable arm, the New Growth Horizon Foundation, and Friends For Good.

The event will feature art from over 35 St. Louis-based artists, with every poster being inspired by one of Proper’s award-winning cannabis strains or signature Honeybee edible flavors. All proceeds of poster and ticket sales will go to NAMI St. Louis and The Last Prisoner Project.

Friends For Good brings together groups of creative people to create large-scale collaborative projects that celebrate companies doing good for people and the planet. Friends For Good’s founders, David Rygiol and James Walker, have produced similar charitable art events before under Type Hike and Local Lands.
